The following are Passes in India:

In Jammu and Kashmir:

  • Chang la:  Ladakh and Tibet
  • Banihal pass: Jammu to Srinagar
  • Parpik pass, khunjerab pass, Mintaka password: Kashmir & China
  • Aghil pass: Ladakh to Xinjiang china
  • Zozila pass: Connect Sri Nagar and kargil-leh.

In Himachal Pradesh:

  • Bara Lacha la: Himachal Pradesh & Jammu & Kashmir
  • Rohtang pass: between kullu and Spiti valleys
  • Shipki la: between Himachal Pradesh and Tibet

In Uttarakhand:

  • Lipu lekh: trijunction of Uttarakhand, Tibet, and Nepal
  • Mana pass or Dungri la (highest pass in India), Mangsha dhura, Niti pass , Muling La: between Uttarakhand & Tibet
  • In Sikkim:
  • Nathu la: between Sikkim and Tibet
  • Jelep La: between Sikkim and Bhutan

Arunachal Pradesh:

  • Bom Di la: between Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh
  • Dihand pass, kumjawng pass, hpungan pass, chankal pass: between Arunachal Pradesh & Myanmar
  • Dipher pass: trijunction of India, China, and Myanmar
  • Yonggyap pass: Between Arunachal Pradesh and Tibet.

Passes in the western ghats:

  1. Bhor ghat: Maharashtra
  2. Goran Ghat : Rajasthan
  3. Pal Ghat or Palakkad Gap: Kerala, Tamil Nadu
  4. Thal ghat, Ambaghat, Maharashtra
