Sources of food


  • Plants
    • Shoot system
      • Food that comes from the upper part(above the soil) of plants. For example, tomato, apple, orange, etc.
    • Root System
      • Food that comes from the root part of plants(below soil). For example, Potato, Radish, sweet potato, etc
  • Animals


 Bees collect Nectar(Sweet juice) from the flower.

There are three types of Consumers:


  • Herbivores
    • Eat only plants. For example, cow, Deer, etc
  • Carnivores
    • Eat the only animal. For example, Lion, Tiger, etc
  • Omnivores
    • Eat both plants and animals. For example, Dog, Human, Cat, etc
