- As per this hypothesis, there was only a Sun before planet formations and Sun was cold before planet formation.
- Another introducing Sun was passed near to our Sun, due to gravitation pull the cigar-shaped extension or bulge of material from our Sun was created.
- This bulge material was separated from the solar surface and called planetesimals having small sizes.
- Planetesimals' materials came together and formed larger bodies called planets.
- This theory was not able to explain why only nine planets formed.
- This theory was not able to explain the different sizes of planets
- Distance between these two suns was huge, gravitation pull was not that strong to pull such large masses from Sun.
