Mussoorie, Nainital, and Ranikhet are the important hill stations of the Himachal or lesser Himalaya and they are major attraction centers for tourism. All three are located in Uttarakhand Himalaya.

Mussoorie is located in the Dehradun District of Uttarakhand. It is a hill station and it is located in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. March to June months are the best months for visiting Mussoorie.

Nainital is hill station and Himalayan resort in Kumaon divison of Uttarakhand. It is famous for the Naina Devi temple.

Ranikhet is a hill station and cantonment town of Uttarakhand which is located in the Almora district.
