Sambhar lake is the largest salt lake in India that is located in Rajasthan.
Wular lake is the largest freshwater lake in India that is located on the bank of the Jhelum river in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pulicat lake is the second largest brackish water lake in India that is located boundary line of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu coast.
Kolleru lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in India which is located between the Godavari and Krishna delta in Andhra Pradesh.
