Answer.

There are four union territories on the western and eastern coasts. 

The names of the four union territories on the western and eastern coasts are as follows:

Daman Diu and Dadra-Nagar-Haveli

Lakshadweep

Puducherry

Andaman and Nicobar Islands

Puducherry's territories are spread over four locations - Mahe (Kerala coast), Yanam (Andhra Pradesh coast), Puducherry (Tamil Nadu coast), and Karaikal (Tamil Nadu coast).

Daman Diu and Dadra-Nagar-Haveli, Lakshadweep Islands, and Mahe (Puducherry) lie on the west coast while Yanam (Puducherry), Puducherry, Karaikal (Puducherry), Andaman-Nicobar Islands lie on the east coast.

The Lakshadweep islands are located off the Kerala coast.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are located in the Bay of Bengal off the west coast of India.
