Karl Marx was a philosopher and political economist who was known for their critique of capitalism.


The main idea of Karl Marx was the economic status of people get shaped by relationships between capitalists and the working class. The working class tends to be poorer and capitalist societies tend to be richer. Capitalist societies like industrialists or Bureaucrats exploit the working class and become richer. However this is not true in the present context, civil servants often help poor people through good governance.


In the field of contemporary public services, Karl Marx's ideas can be used to reduce income inequality and promote social justice.


Public servants can advocate a living wage that covers the basic needs of an individual or family. It will be helpful the fulfilling to reducing income inequality.


Karl Marx views the state or government in a negative sense, he argued that the state is the tool of the ruling class to maintain their power and control over society. This is not true in contemporary public services, as public services advocate for policies that promote greater citizen participation in decision-making.


Marx argued that culture is shaped by the economic system. However, this is not true in present society. Public servants focus on cultural diversity and the promotion of cultural understanding irrespective.


In conclusion, we can say Karl Marx’s social and political ideas have a significant impact on contemporary public services, for social justice, cultural diversity, and reducing income inequality.
