Technology Vision Document 2035 was released during the inauguration of the 103rd Indian Science Congress.

The vision document was produced by The Technology Information, Forecasting, and Assessment Council ( TIFAC), which was set up in 1988, and is an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology.

The vision document identified twelve (12) sectors for special focus and provided a roadmap for each of them. The following are lists of identified documents-

  • Education
  • Medical Science and Healthcare
  • Food and Agriculture
  • Water
  • Energy
  • Environment
  • Habitat
  • Transportation
  • Infrastructure
  • Manufacturing

Six of the above-identified field provide the individual needs and six of the collective needs, and the above 12 are available to each and every Indian.
