( Chapter 2: Globe: Latitudes and Longitudes, Class 6- The Earth: Our Habitat ( GEOGRAPHY), SOCIAL SCIENCE)

Answer.

The latitudinal value of the tropic of cancer is approximately 23.5 degrees north. The Tropic of Cancer passes in the northern hemisphere. This is an imaginary line circle on Earth that lies parallel to the equator and marks the northernmost point where the Sun can appear directly overhead during the June solstice.

The Tropic of Cancer makes the boundary between the temperate zone and the torrid zone.
