The Karakoram Range, Ladakh, Zanskar Range, and Zojila Pass are all significant geographical features located in the northern part of India. It is located in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh union territories:


Karakoram Range: 

The Karakoram Range is one of the Greater Ranges of Asia, extending across the borders of Pakistan, India, and China. It is known for its towering peaks, including K2, the second-highest mountain in the world. 


Ladakh: 

Ladakh is a region in the northernmost part of the Indian subcontinent, it is a Union Territory of India. It is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, high-altitude deserts, Buddhist monasteries, and unique culture. Leh is the largest town in Ladakh and serves as its administrative center.



Zanskar Range: 

The Zanskar Range is a subrange of the Greater Himalayas. It is located in the eastern part of the Union Territory of Ladakh. Zaskar mountain range is known for its challenging trekking routes and is home to the Zanskar River, which freezes during the winter and is often used as a frozen pathway, known as the Chadar Trek.


Zojila Pass: 

Zojila Pass is a high mountain pass in the western Himalayas, connecting Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir with Leh in Ladakh. It is a vital lifeline for the region, providing road access to Leh and the surrounding areas. The pass is prone to heavy snowfall and avalanches during the winter, making it challenging to traverse.
