Where are the one-horned rhinoceros found?

Answer.

The one-horned rhinoceros, also known as the Indian rhinoceros, is primarily found in the Indian subcontinent. 

The one-horned rhinoceros are found in the following regions:

India: 

one-horned rhinoceros are primarily found in the northeastern states of Assam, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh in India. About 70 % of the total world population of one-horned rhinoceros are found in Kaziranga National Park, Assam.

Nepal: 

one-horned rhinoceros are also found in certain protected areas in Nepal, such as Chitwan National Park and Bardia National Park.


Historically, these one-horned rhinoceros also ranged into parts of Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Myanmar, but their populations have significantly declined due to habitat loss and poaching. Conservation efforts have been made to protect and conserve one-horned rhinoceros creatures, and they are now found in protected reserves and national parks in the region.
