Location of India


  • Located in the northern hemisphere between 8'4'' N to 37'6'' N( distance 3214 km)
  • Longitude between 68'7'' E to 97'25 E,(distance 2933 Km)
  • Tropic of cancer 23'3'' divides India into two nearly half parts and it passes through 8 Indian states namely Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, Chhatisgarh, West Bengal,  Jharkhand, Tripura, and Mizoram.
  • The southern point of India is Indira point.
