Answer.

Lakshadweep is the smallest union territory and island group of India. Lakshadweep comes under the "Islands" physiographic division of India. It is located in the Arabian Sea near the Kerala coast.

If a person has to travel to Lakshadweep, he should go through Malabar Coast (Kerala Coast) (Southwest Coastal Plain) as it is nearer to Kerala Coast.

Lakshadweep islands are located at a distance of 280 km to 480 km from the Kerala coast. Lakshadweep is well connected through air services as well as sea ship services to the Kerala coast.
