Monkeys, deer, goats, and sheep are some of the animals found in tropical and mountain vegetation.
Tropical type of vegetation is found in the region where heat and rainfall are high, in such a region the average temperature in a year is above 24 degrees centigrade and rainfall is also more than 70 cm. Tropical type of vegetation is found in peninsular India and central India.
Montane vegetation is found in mountainous regions where there is a decrease in temperature with an increase in altitude. Changes in mountain vegetation in mountainous areas are similar to those found from the equator to the poles, as in tropical to tundra vegetation.
