What is a waterfall?

A Waterfall is one kind of erosional landform, formed when a river flows over a vertical drop or a series of steep drops in the hard rocky terrain. 

The type of rock and geographical processes in the area influence the formation of the waterfall.

Victoria Falls is situated on the Zambezi River. It is located between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Iguazu Waterfall is on Iguazu river. It is situated on the border between Argentina and Brazil.

5. Kaieteur Falls, Guyana:

Kaieteur Falls is located in the Amazon rainforest in Guyana.
