How do you explain the variation in the area and population of NCT Delhi and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands?

Answer.

The following are differences between the area and population of NCT Delhi and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands;

The area of NCT Delhi is 1483 square km while the area of Andaman and Nicobar islands is 8,249 square km.

As per the 2011 census, the Population of NCT Delhi is 1,67,87,941 while the population of the Andaman and Nicobar islands is 3,80,581.

As per the 2011 census, the population density of NCT Delhi is 11,297 while the population density of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is 46.

NCT Delhi provides a wide range of economic opportunities and suitable conditions for human habitation as compared to the Andaman and Nicobar islands, which is why the population density of NCT Delhi is more than Andaman and Nicobar islands.

NCT Delhi is a plain area while Andaman & Niconars islands are hilly areas.
