What is a disaster?

Answer.

A disaster is an undesirable event, the occurrence of which causes large-scale damage to the economy, environment, and society. When a disaster occurs, people need outside help because they do not have enough resources to recover from the disaster.

Disasters are some of the changes that mankind has always disliked and feared.

Some examples of disasters are earthquakes, landslides, floods, tsunamis, etc.

What is a disaster


Disaster often comes without warning and it comes so quickly that people do not have time to avoid it.

Disaster causes serious damage to life and property. It not only harms people but also animals, wildlife, and flora.

A lot of effort is required to reduce the problems arising out of disasters.

Prevention of natural disasters is not very possible, so by preparing and managing to reduce the damage caused by disasters, we can reduce the losses.
