1886: Second Indian National Congress ( INC), Calcutta, Presided by Dada Bhai Nauroji


1887: Third Indian National Congress ( INC), Madras, Presided by Badruddin Tyabji. He was the first Muslim President of INC.


1888: Fourth Indian National Congress ( INC), Allahabad, Presided by George Yule. He was the first English President of INC.


1906: Benaras, Presided over by Dadabhai Naoroji, demanded the reversal of the Partition of Bengal, the Boycott movement in Bengal, and the Swadeshi movement.


1907: Surat Split, Presided by Rash Behari Ghosh.


1916: Lucknow Pact between Extremists. Moderate, and Muslim League, Preside by Ambica Charan Mazumdar.


1917: Calcutta, Presided by Annie Besant, the First woman president of the Indian National Congress ( INC).


1924: The 1924 session of the Indian National Congress held at Belgaum (Karnataka) was the only session of the INC presided by Mahatma Gandhi.

1929: Lahore Session, Adoption of Purna Swaraj ( Full Freedom), Presided by Jawahar Lal Nehru


1931 INC Session, Karachi, Preside by Vallabh Bhai Patel, Draft of Fundamental Rights was prepared by Jawahar Lal Nehru.


1936: Faizpur ( Maharashtra) was the only session of the Indian National Congress, which was held in the village. It was held in 1936, and Jawahar Lal Nehru was president.
