Persuasive communication is the method to change other feelings, behavior, and attitude toward people, things, and ideas. Persuasive communication is essential for changing the attitudes of the masses as it helps us to convince people to think or act in a particular way.
The present era is an information era where ideas and information spread quickly through various platforms. Persuasive communication plays an important role in shaping opinions and changing the attitudes of the masses through various ways like advertisements, public speaking, political communication, sales communication, and persuasive writing.

The following are the importance of persuasive communication to change the attitudes of the masses:
  • Influence
  • Credibility
  • Awareness 
  • Solving the social and Individual conflict
  • To reduce social problems and corruption
  • Shaping public opinion for nation-building.
  • Teamwork

Influence: Persuasive communication allows us to influence the attitudes of the masses. When we present our ideas in compelling ways, it is more likely of convincing others to adopt our perspective.

To reduce social problems and corruption: Persuasive communication can help the masses to overcome some social problems like child marriage, child labor, and also corruption problems in society.
