Rajya Sabha is also known as the Council of State, Permanent House, Upper House, or Elders House. The minimum age to become a member of "Rajya Sabha" is 30 years.

The fact about Minimum Age:

Minimum Voting Age: 18 years

The minimum age for Gram Panchayat Member: 21 years

Minimum Age for Member of  Lok Sabha, Member of State Assemblies, Chief Minister, or Prime Minister: 25 years

Minimum age Rajya Sabha Members or Legislative Council: 30 years

Minimum age of President, Vice President, or Governor: 35 years
