I see a forest. There are many animals, birds, and trees in it.

Yes, I can. They are a lion, a leopard, a monkey, a squirrel, two deer, two donkeys, two snakes, an owl, and a hen.
3. Do you know the names of each animal in English?

4. Where have you seen them?
Answer.
I have seen the squirrel, hen, owl, snake, and monkey near my house. I have seen the lion, leopard, and deer in the zoo.
5. Are there any birds in the picture?
Answer.
Yes, there are two birds — a hen and an owl.
6. Can you name them?
Yes, they are a hen and an owl.
7. Can you see the snakes? How many are there?
Answer.
Yes, I can see two snakes. They are around the tree trunk.
8. What is the monkey doing?
Answer.
The monkey is hanging on the tree.

अर्थ:
एक, दो, तीन, चार, पाँच —
मैंने एक मछली पकड़ी जो जीवित थी।
छह, सात, आठ, नौ, दस —
फिर मैंने उसे वापस जल में छोड़ दिया।
भावार्थ:
यह एक मज़ेदार कविता है जिसका उद्देश्य बच्चों को गिनती सिखाना हैं और साथ ही बच्चों को करुणा ( दया ) का पाठ पढ़ाना भी है।
कवि बताता है कि उसने मछली पकड़ी, पर बाद में उसे छोड़ दिया।
यह कविता बच्चों को संख्याएँ सीखने और दयालुता (kindness) का पाठ पढ़ाती है।

चार छोटे बंदर
एक पेड़ पर कूद रहे हैं,

अब, कोई बंदर
पेड़ पर नहीं कूद रहा,
उनमें से हर एक
अपना घुटना पकड़े हुए है!
भावार्थ:
यह एक मज़ेदार कविता है जिसमें पाँच बंदर पेड़ पर उछल-कूद करते हैं। उनमें से एक-एक बन्दर गिरकर अपने घुटने पर चोट लगा लेता है। यह कविता बच्चों को संख्या, क्रिया (jump, fall) और सावधानी का पाठ सिखाती है।
